I believe this paragraph should be for only those who understand what RWBY is or have an idea of what I’m talking about. As said before, my custom character is Caleburn, a bear faunas; a young man standing roughly 6’9’’ with broad shoulders similar to an NFL player. And being a faunas, he also possesses animal characteristics; in this case bear ears on the top of his head instead of human ears on the sides. He also wields armor of heavy weight resembling the ebony set of Skyrim, but of more or less silver luster. His weapon, the W-1 Beowulf is a combination battle-axe/shotgun. Think an ebony battle-axe from Skyrim combined with a pump shotgun for hunting. His armor is heavy and strong, but also not too conspicuous, more or less hidden behind a long sleeve tee with a crocodile logo. When he works, you wouldn’t think he was a warrior, you might think he was a normal Joe with a job requiring manual labor; working jeans, a heavy shirt, and work boots. Now all this coming out might seem like a bit much for a character model, but this is one quirk of the RWBY universe, all the characters in the series have a huntsman/huntress outfit and a civilian outfit. And with the civilian getup for my character, he sometimes wears a black Stetson just for laughs, or when he hears Doobie Brothers.
Part of the reason I made an article like this is because I enjoy the RWBY series and really like the characters. Now for the list of reasons why: One, the character cast in roughly 75% female, which shows some gender diversity of a different form. Second, not only is a good storyline present but also it is action-packed with duels of mythic proportions with robots and monsters and almost every type of anime fighting style imaginable. On top of all that, I think it’s just plane awesome, praise Monty Oum!
